Nineteen Story High Tea

Posted by Foobooz on 30th November 2006

The Café at NINETEEN (XIX) located on the 19th floor of the Park Hyatt at The Bellevue at Broad and Walnut Streets, offers a modern take on Afternoon Tea, available daily from 2 to 4 pm.

XIX serves teas from around the world including their The Bellevue Blend, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, a combination of passion fruit, pomegranate and vanilla; Jasmine Green Oolong, blends fancy oolong and green tealeaves with rich body and pale jade liquor; and Harmony, a minty herbal blend of peppermint leaves, chamomile flowers, orange blossoms and allspice.

Light nibbles include updated versions of the classic tea sandwich such as Maine Lobster Salad, with almonds, tarragon mayonnaise on toasted brioche, Jambon Royal Ham, with aged Gouda on Jewish rye bread and Atlantic Smoked Salmon, with pickled radishes and Sturgeon caviar on a mini baguette.

For the sweet selections, there is an array of fresh house baked goods including: Chocolate Short Bread; Raisin Butter Scones; Mini Pastries; and Lemon Curd with Devonshire Cream.
