We’ve heard of and even posted about National Wine Week at Smith & Wollensky before. But understandably we are a bit hesitant about things that seem too good to be true, like 10 glasses of wine for $10. But having done our due diligence let us unabashedly recommend taking a half a day next week, heading over Smith & Wolenksy at Rittenhouse Square for lunch and having a rip-roaring good time.

Smith & Wollensky National Wine Week runs from September 17th to 21st. Over 18,000 bottles will be poured during the event.

Overall grade: Three-and-a-half out of a possible four links. It really is good value, in a steakhouse setting (the upstairs dining room has a nice view), if you don’t feel bound to try everything on the menu.
