Tonight

Posted by Foobooz on 4th December 2007

Last week we lamented the lack of good Tuesday deals but we were reminded that the Rum Bar has Jamaican jerk wings on Tuesdays for just $.50 a piece and they are very good.

And if you go to Temple, celebrate not having anyone from your school referred to as the Bonny and Clyde of ID Theft at the South Philadelphia Tap Room where they offer $1 Lager drafts to anyone with Temple ID. If you go to Penn or Drexel, maybe you know someone who makes fake IDs.

Full Moon At Rum Bar

Posted by Foobooz on 21st September 2007

Angelique Campbell goes to the Rum Bar’s first Full Moon Party and finds lots of men in pajamas but luckily just one full moon.

And boy, were those pajama-wearing men friendly. They recommended drinks to me and my friend, brought us snacks from the buffet and danced around to the reggae band without a care in the world. Soon, they were so comfortable, they started taking off their shirts.

The next Full Moon party is this Wednesday at 9pm. $30 in advance, $35 at the door.
