Tonight Pumpkin Market is hosting its initial first Tuesday Community Festival. Local and organic vendors will be offering their wares from 5:30 to 7:30 at 1610 South Street.
Among those participating are Market Day Canelé, Chef’s Warehouse cheeses and Sweet!, pies and fuel bars.
This will be an ongoing event taking place the first Tuesday of every month.

Mid-September should see Bar 210, the new bar inside of Lacroix make its debut. [The Clog]

Saturday saw the opening of
Pumpkin Market at 1610 South Street. The market by the folk who gave us
Pumpkin Cafe and
Pumpkin the BYOB stocks local dairy, cheese and meats from locals.
Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 to 9 and Weekends from 9 to 9.

Ian Moroney and Hillary Bor who own Pumpkin Market and Pumpkin the BYOB are adding a third Pumpkin to the mix. This one will be a produce market. The current Pumpkin Market will be renamed Pumpkin Cafe and the new spot will be Pumpkin Market. Got it? Good. Opening is set for early August.

The Bite talks soup today as January is national soup month. Tuesday Legal Sea Foods is giving away cups of chowder. And if you can’t make it out to King of Prussia make it to the Pumpkin Market on South Street for their short rib chili. It’s also Mexican mole month at Xochitl with a special 3-course menu for $40.

You’ve tried the BYO, now try the market. From Hillary Bor and chef Ian Moroney of Pumpkin comes Pumpkin Market. Just down the block from Pumpkin at 1609 South Street Pumpkin Market features fresh salads and sandwiches.
Eager diners can look forward to his delectable croque monsieur, warm roast beef sandwiches with celery remoulade and divine Cuban sandwiches. Moroney also promises coffee and house-cured gravlax and bagels for weekend diners.
