What’s Opening Soon II

Today we take a look at some places opening Old City and Northern Liberties.

Beneluxx Tasting RoomEulogy’s second spot is opening just a block from the original at 33 S 3rd Street. The Beneluxx Tasting Room will take over what was A Bar Named Sue and SoMa.

What’s Opening Soon

A year ago we did a week long photo essay of what’s opening soon. And it was so fun, so lets do it again.

Today we’ll concentrate on 12th Street where four new spots are planned.

Tria II The second Tria location is just about to open at 12th and Spruce. It’s come a long way in a year.

Day four of our look at the progress of restaurants that are “opening soon.”
TriaThe second Tria is coming to 12th and Spruce and into the former home of a Laundromat. The small corner location has a long ways to go, but promises to be a welcome addition to the Washington Square West neighborhood.

Oceanaire Seafood RestaurantOceanaire Seafood Restaurant has already won an award for best wine list, even though there’s obviously plenty of construction to complete before the doors open at this Washington Square restaurant.

Today we look at the brown paper covering the progress at five more restaurants that are hoping to open soon.

AmaditaTinto is going to be Jose Garces’ next restaurant. Across from Capogiro Gelato at 20th and Sansom, Garces’ next spot will be a smaller venue than Amada, and will focus on the small plate cuisine of the Basque region of Spain.

Photos Of What’s Opening Soon

All week Foobooz will be taking a photographic tour of some restaurants that are opening soon.
Today we start with West Philadelphia, Graduate Hospital Area (G-Ho) and a place in Fairmount.

The Hub Chef Jose Garces of Amada is planning on opening a Mexican restaurant at 40th and Chestnut in the new development there known simply as the Hub.
