Philly Beer Week lost its Facebook fans. Some sort of glitch has left the official Facebook page for Philly Beer Week fanless.
If you were a fan, go ahead and become a fan again and if you were never a fan, no time like the present. After all Philly Beer Week 2010 is just 248 days away.

The 2010 Philly Beer Week won’t be in March but rather from June 4th to 13th, 2010.
Joe Sixpack aka Don Russell isn’t in favor of moving PBW but he does a very good job laying out why the decision was made.
We’re in favor of the moved festival. More outdoor drinking is good, so is less Erin Expressiveness. Lets just hope the Penn Museum has good air conditioning.

With 600+ events you’re going to miss some events you wish you hadn’t. And almost as if to rub it in, others go and blog about them. Here are a couple that made us jealous.
Meal Ticket’s Felicia D’Ambrosio was lucky enough to be at Monk’s Brett Pack dinner with four “rock stars” of the beer world; Adam Avery of Avery Brewing, Tom Arthur of Lost Abbey and Port Brewing, Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head and Rob Tod of Allagash were all in attendance and so was their beer. Femme Fermental blogged about her beer dinner at Amada with Jose Garces and Brooklyn Brewery’s Garrett Oliver. [Femme Fermental]

It’s a Sly Fox happy hour at Amada from 4 to 6pm. Brewer Brian O’Reilly will have a jeroboam of Incubus Tripel.
And as a reminder, all week Amada is offering a dinner pairing Sly Fox beers with a special menu.

Memphis Taproom has had to go to great lengths for their Beer Week “No Repeats” promotion. But these casks from Fuller’s arrived via air, a rare and expensive shipping option for kegs of beer. Tonight they’ll be tapping Fuller’s London Pride, London Porter and ESB that just arrived from across the pond.

“That’s why I’m turning Japanese.” And this week there’s plenty of help. Tonight, Japan’s Hitachino Nest will be featured at Jose Pistola’s. There will be some rarely seen Hitachino beers on draft as well as brewer, Mikio Kiuchi. [Meal Ticket]
Thursday night, Morimoto is hosting a Beer dinner with a specially designed 5-course dinner with pairings from Rogue Ales, including several from the Morimoto Signature Series. Dinner is $75 per person.
Check out the full menu after the jump and maybe you’ll be turning Japanese too.

There may seem to be a Beer Week event at every bar but it will be hard to beat the beers being featured at Bridgid’s tonight. The new release, Duvel Green will be pouring and there is also Maredsous Blonde plus Ommegang’s Chocolat Indulgence, Three Philosophers and Abbey Ale. Mmmmm, mmmmmm!

Well there’s this swell little event going on this weekend, Philly Beer Week, maybe you’ve heard about it?
Friday
If it weren’t Beer Week we would probably be more focused on First Friday. Today is the opening of Chefs in Motion at Foster’s Homeware in Old City. It’s definitely worth a look-see.
But it is Beer Week and we’ll be attending the sold out Opening Tap event at the Comcast Center. If we weren’t going to that, we’d probably be voting for the best cheese and beer pairings at the Sidecar with Drew Lazor.
Saturday
Celebrate the first anniversary of Philadelphia Brewing Co. from 1 to 4pm. After that we’re thinking King Pin at the Standard Tap. It sounds like a mini Royal Stumble with the first brewery to kick their pin of beer being crowned King Pin.
Sunday
There are more than a few beer brunch options for Sunday. We dig the Vintage Beer Brunch at the Memphis Taproom where you get to try 5 different beers, each as a young beer and an aged version. In the afternoon we’ll be chowing down at the Brewer’s Plate where 21 brews are paired with the food of 21 restaurants. And proceeds benefit Fair Food.
