Best of Philly is always a fun read, even if you heartily disagree with the choices. But the most asked question besides, how could they make that choice has to be, where in the world is that?

We here at Foobooz World Headquarters love maps. In fact, last night we were geocoding 800+ restaurants just for fun. Well maybe not just for fun but anyway –  we especially love Google Mash-ups that display all sorts of fun food-related stuff.

Best Of Philly [Philadelphia Magazine]

The cool kids at Gridskipper have been saying nice things about Philadelphia’s beer scene and today they’ve got a map of the best local breweries.

For tonight’s Philly Beer Week pick we’re going with what the Beer Week calendar blandly calls “The Local Breweries Self-Guided Tour” but we prefer to think of it as “Borg on a Bender.” Tonight seven breweries will be represented at eight bars. Your goal, kick the sixtel (a small keg) at each bar and head to the next. Pay as you go, just $4 a pint. It all kicks off at Jose Pistola’s at 6pm.
