Le Bec-Fin may have gone a la carte but there seems to always be a new tasting menu in the works. The latest is the Classic Degustation menu that’s available Monday through Friday for $50 per person.
Downstairs Bar Lyonnais is offering an “open prix fixe” where you can choose an appetizer, main course and dessert of the Bar Lyonnais menu for $35. Couple that with happy hour from 6 to 7pm with $5 drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres and you’re looking at a bargain basement night at Le Bec-Fin!

For the first week of every new month Le Bar Lyonnais at Le Bec-Fin offers a very special $45 four-course dinner menu. This monthly menu features a seasonal ingredient carried throughout the entire dinner. Wine pairings by French Master Sommelier Christophe Tassan are available for an additional $25 per person.

Brian Freedman of aroundphilly.com has set himself up with a challenge. Dine at a top-notch restaurant a week, with his wife and keep it under $100 for the meal.
He sets himself up with a big challenge for his first sub $100 meal, Le Bar Lyonnais, the downstairs restaurant at Le Bec Fin. Le Bar Lyonnais features French bistro dishes at significant savings when compared to Le Bec Fin.
So at the end of the delicious meal of an appetizer, two main courses, dessert and two glasses of the cheapest wine on the list Freedman wound up spending $136. Significantly higher than he aimed to go, but hey, it was Le Bec Fin quality.
