No need to panic people. The Good Dog is closed for renovations but rest assured, these aren’t the renovations that cover for a closing. The Center City watering hole and burger paradise are set to reopen on Monday, November 5th.
UPDATE: There will be a re-opening party on Monday celebrating the reopening and new bathrooms featuring complimentary appetizers and half-priced drafts from 5 to 7 PM.

Nothing, though, quite moved me like the Good Dog’s burgers, a perfectly juicy balance of primal pleasure and clever cookery that spurred my dinner guest to write a haiku about it the next day. Coincidentally, I had already begun mine. In particular, about the startling moment I took a bite of GD’s signature burger topped with caramelized onions and discovered that its perfectly seasoned, lithely handled meat had been miraculously stuffed with a wellspring of molten bleu cheese.
Yards Love Stout that is. Yes, it’s that time of year where you can find Yards’ delicious Stout on tap and in bottles around the area. Head to Good Dog tonight and experience it fresh on draught. And enjoy a half-priced can as well.
