Today we look at the brown paper covering the progress at five more restaurants that are hoping to open soon.

Tinto is going to be Jose Garces’ next restaurant. Across from Capogiro Gelato at 20th and Sansom, Garces’ next spot will be a smaller venue than Amada, and will focus on the small plate cuisine of the Basque region of Spain.

Michael Klein also notes Fogo de Chão is looking to open an outpost in Center City late this year or in ‘07. Fogo de Chão claims to be an authentic Brazilian steak chain where meats are seasoned and slow-roasted over an open flame to capture their individual flavor. The savory cuts are then presented on skewers and carved tableside by authentic Gaucho chefs.
