The second of East Passyunk’s
Piazza on Passyunk is set for tomorrow. Starting at 5 PM reconnect with the avenue and enjoy the area restaurants and shops as well as street performances featuring local legends, old school crooners and new talent. If you have the talent hop on stage and join in the Open-Mic and Jam Sessions performance space.

Over 30 of the region’s finest family farmers and food producers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware will have a bounty of seasonal food products available for sale and sampling at the
Reading Terminal Market today.
The Food Expo will run from 4 to 6 PM this evening. The event is hosted by The White Dog Café Foundation’s Fair Food Project.

Tomorrow is the first East Passyunk Avenue Piazza. Come out and enjoy Passyunk Avenue as it returns to its traditional role as a dynamic cultural stomping ground and bustling marketplace.
There will be plenty to do including the weekly Fountain Farmer’s Market at 11th, Passyunk and Tasker Streets.
Avenue shops, crafters and artisans will also be in the spirit and there will be a on open air market to sell your own arts and crafts.
And don’t just be entertained, entertain at the Open Mic and jam sessions on the Avenue.

Is vowing to eat only food produced within a 100-mile radius possible? In
today’s City Paper we find out you can get by just fine thank you, well unless you’re a coffee fiend.
We’re enjoying the foods, some for the first time. There’s the raw milk, with actual cream rising to the top of the glass bottle. (It’s almost embarrassing that this is a novelty.) Technicolor rainbow chard. Tiny sugarplums bursting with juice. Unbelievably sweet ears of Mirai corn. Candy onions you could practically eat raw. It’s a whole new palette of flavors.
