A Perfect Wine Bar

Posted by Foobooz on 22nd January 2009

Di Vino Wine Bar

Trey Popp is impressed with Rittenhouse Square’s Di Vino Wine Bar & Restaurant, from the wine selection, right down to the price.

Considering the number of opportunities we gave him to fill our oversize stemware with the priciest juice on the list, I was frankly surprised to receive a bill in which half the wines were between $7 and $10 and none was more than $15. What a pleasure to be taken care of by someone more eager to plug a good bargain than to milk a big markup.

Posted by Foobooz on 10th October 2008

The former Valentino on the Square is being remade as Di Vino Wine Bar, a modern Mediterranean wine bar with “unimaginable” wines by the glass.

Menu after the jump, it ain’t cheap.
