Phoodie.info just pointed out this amazing press release was sitting in our inbox.
On April 6th Chaddsford Winery will introduce their 2006 Pinot Grigio “PIERRENO GRIGIO,” named for WMMR’s longtime DJ Pierre Robert.
The wine will be introduced throughout the area via wine dinners featuring meet-and-greets with Pierre Robert. Among the restaurants hosting the dinners are Kildare’s King of Prussia, Gypsy Saloon, Snackbar, Horizons, The Gables in Chadds Ford, The White Dog Café, The Moshulu and Valanni.

Chaddsford Winery will host a series of springtime-themed Friday Night Tastings on April 13, 20 and 27, from 7 to 9 PM. Each night will feature fresh Spring flowers, delicious Spring hors d’oeuvres and Chaddsford Spring Wine. There will also be informal tastings of other Chaddsford wines.
The cost is $25 per person which includes a commemorative Spring Wine tasting glass.

Chaddsford Winery won five of the ten top honors at the
Pennsylvania Wine Society’s fifth annual Pennsylvania Excellence Awards.
A panel of judges chose 10 of the state’s best wines made from Vinifera and Chambourcin grapes. The five winning Chaddsford Winery wines included: Merican 2002; Pinot Noir, Barrel Select 2004; Pinot Noir, 2005; Pinot Grigio, 2005; and Chambourcin, Miller Estate 2004.
