Wait! Did you know there’s a big beer thing happening next week? And beer is back? And Michael Jackson is not just a guy who forces his children to wear blankets on their heads, but is also a recently deceased beer expert? And guys like beer and women like wine, sometimes? Noted Philly beer gal Suz, you may know her from
Eulogy, is getting together a group of ladies interested in beer. And we’re not talking Miller Lite here, rather good beer. The first meeting is tomorrow, 7:30 PM at
Ludwig’s. On the agenda tomorrow is choosing a name for the group, food and beer parings, brewery field trips, festival trips, and even home-brewing.
The group will meet every other Wednesday, at a different bar each time. For more information
contact Suzanne directly.

In this month’s American Way Magazine (the inflight magazine of American Airlines), Terri Hatcher can’t stop saying nice things about Philadelphia.
Terri visits Philadelphia several times a year to visit extended family and certainly seems to take advantage of Philadelphia’s food and drink scenes.
- Breakfast: Italian Market, “You can get some of the best espresso, cappuccinos, and Italian pastries youve ever tasted…. Oh, and they have yummy egg frittatas too.”
- Lunch: Terri prefers Pat’s over Geno’s and goes with the Whiz pizza without.
- Evening: Terri heads to the Continental for a pomegranate margarita or a grapefruit martini.
- Dinner: if it’s Vetri she’ll go with the gnocchi, or rib eye at Barclay Prime.
