Appetizing Without Being Overdone

Posted by Foobooz on 24th August 2007

Caribou Cafe

Girls Guide dines out at one of their favorites, Caribou Cafe.

Caribou’s food is consistently appetizing and just enough portion-wise. Try their rich tasting crab cake or one of their many lovely salads or sandwiches. They provide a lush experience and meal without being too fancy or overdone.

Joe Sixpack asks the question who would you rather drink with, Fido or some crumb snatching kid. Unsurprisingly Joe picks the pups and gives a good list of places where you can enjoy a cold one with your favorite cold-nosed friend.

  • Le Bus
  • London Grill
  • White Dog Cafe
  • Bliss
  • Caribou Cafe
  • Newportville Inn
  • Triumph Brewing, New Hope
  • Four Dogs Tavern

Another new spot to check out with your four-legged companion is Tavern 17 where later this summer they’ll be unveiling a “doggie menu.”

Caribou Caf

Posted by Foobooz on 22nd January 2007

Messy and Picky head out to a post-holiday lunch at Caribou Caf on Walnut Street. What they find is the beet salad is too beety but the croquet monsieur stays together well melted cheese that hasnt gotten too gooey.

The final word: Good French food in a nice setting, but not a lot for the vegetarians among us.
