King crab, foie gras, scallops, turkey, oysters and beef are upcoming special ingredients for Blackfish’s 4-course, $45 tasting dinners.
These menus are only really rivaled by Matyson for clever takes on the tasting dinner.

Jennifer Carroll isn’t the only guest chef for Blackfish Conshohocken. The first of the monthly events will be on Monday, November 2nd with Alex Talbot and Aki Kamozawa from Ideas in Food.
The dinners are seven courses and $85 per person.

In tonight’s preview of Top Chef: Las VegasJennifer Carroll is stressing herself out as she prepares to cook for guest judge Charlie Palmer.
Carroll is showing up in more and more places. Today you can find her on UWISHUNU where she’s dishing on her relationship with Philadelphia and wishing for a 24-hour Sarcone’s.
On December 7th she’ll be taking her show on the road as she’s doing a guest-chef night at Conshohocken’s Blackfish. The 7-course dinner is $85 per person. Reservations are of course a necessity.
Chef Chip Roman’s tasting dinners continue each Tuesday at Blackfish Conshohocken. Tonight it’s venison four ways plus dessert for $45. Reservations are available.

While we greedily stuffed our faces with wonderful bites, Grub Street dutifully photographed all of the deliciousness on display at last night’s Taste of the Nation fundraiser.
Blackfish, which had stopped lunch service in April is bringing the afternoon delight back. Among the pluses for suburban office dwellers, it means the “big burb burger” is back.
Chip Roman’sBlackfish is loading up with special events for the summer. The Conshohocken restaurant will be open on July 4th and will be offering a 4-course, $45 lobster bake.
Also kicking off this week is a special after 8 3-course $40 menu. This menu is available on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
And on Tuesdays, Roman’s 4-course tasting menu continues for $45. Each tasting will include a common ingredient. Upcoming ingredients include:
Each Monday Blackfish chef and owner Chip Roman has been creating a 4-course chef’s tasting menu focusing on a single ingredient. So far the $45 menus have featured beets, radish, watercress and peas. But starting this Monday and going forward the special ingredient that is included in each course becomes a lot more interesting .
Ansill Food + Wine is bringing back their European BBQ today and tomorrow. $35 gets you a pile of roasted pig, grilled meats and marinated vegetables for two.
London Grill has extended their $18.95 meal deal through the end of March. Choose from a Maine Lobster dinner or Steak and salad.

And then on Mondays Chef Chip Roman is offering a $45 4 course chef’s tasting with a focus on a single ingredient. It starts Monday, March 16th and will be a “A Study of Porcini.”
