Best of Philly is always a fun read, even if you heartily disagree with the choices. But the most asked question besides, how could they make that choice has to be, where in the world is that?

Philly Mag has given us a peek at 10 of its Food and Drink winners for Best of Philly and the winner for gourmet burger is Butcher and Singer.

And yesterday Starr tweated that the burger would be available at lunch for just $5.95. Grub Street hypothesized that maybe this was all related to Tommy Up’s Twitter smack talk but maybe it’s just in time marketing to capitalize on the Best Of win.

Whatever the reason, it’s worth biting into.

Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly is hitting newsstands now.
CBS3 has video in the best of food category.
Among those mentioned are Boyz in Cherry Hill, which wins for “Best Strip Mall Dining.” Deuce earns the nod in “Best in Cheesesteak Updated” for their cheesesteak eggrolls and Marchiano�s Bakery in Manayunk gets “best tomato pie.”
