We admit that we weren’t personally that excited for the 12 different kinds of deviled eggs available at Supper’s happy hour last Wednesday. But the sheer energy of those who were that excited got us in the door. Well that and the $3 cans of Sly Fox.
But we have to admit we did enjoy all the varieties we chose and so did Mac & Cheese. And she wasn’t alone. 1080 deviled eggs were served up.
The deviled eggs will be available through July with a rotating menu of four and a Sly Fox beer can for $6.

In Friday’s Joe Sixpack column there was this exciting little tidbit.
The Budapest Cafe (11th and Fitzwater, Bella Vista) will open in June. The cafe will be operated by Chris Fetfatzes (whose family runs Bella Vista Beer distributor across the street) and his girlfriend, Heather Annechiarico. They promise to carry every one of the more than 3,000 different brands registered for sale in Pennsylvania.
That’s a lot of beer.

It looks like Bibou is slipping to early May but Philadelphia Magazine caught up with owner and chef Pierre Calmels for five good questions. We especially love his answer to “We’ve seen a lot of new French places open up in the last year. What will set Bibou apart?” The answer is just so French!
