Bella Vista Beer Distributors have a cool new thing, it’s their Beer Exchange Program. Buy a case of American craft beer and swap a bottle from your case for one of the beers you’ll find at the counter. A great way to try a new beer. [Restaurant Club]
Joe Sixpack confirms that the Foodery is looking for a third location. Likely locales include, Manayunk, Chestnut Hill or Roxborough. [Beer Radar]
The Northeast gets a high-end takeout store this weekend as the Craft Beer Outlet opens at Morrell Plaza Shopping Center at Frankford and Knights Road. [Beer Radar]
And when did Latimer Deli become big beer bottle heaven? The 15th Street bodega, probably best known as the cigarette store next to McGlinchey’s now has more than half an aisle dedicated to big bottles from Europe and the United States. [twitpic]

Drew Lazor has more details on the Bella Vista Beer Distributors new digs across the street from their current location.
To sum it up it’ll be a gigantic beer distributor with a Belgian abbey and clock tower inside. Oh and some chandeliers.
And on Sunday, October 5th, there will be a grand re-opening party at the distributor featuring hard to find draft beers, light food and a reggae band.
The re-opening Day Party beer list as pulled from the BeerAdvocate forums is posted after the jump. It’s kind of unbelievable.

Bella Vista Beer Distributors is moving across the street to the east side of 11th street and into a 38,000 sqft space. Drew Lazor has all the details at the Clog including a look at a pre-prohibition sign for Louis Bergdoll and Sons Brewing Co (”Philadelphia’s Best Beer”).
UPDATE: Joe Sixpack has some further Bella Vista Beer plans. Owner Chris Fetfatzes plans on opening a 1,200 bottle shop at 11th and Fitzwater at the site of the current facility.
