Following on the heels of Illadates UWISHUNU has debuted Illanights, an inside look at Philadelphia nightlife featuring comedian Anton Shuford.

In the first episode Anton starts out at Helium Comedy Club before heading out on the town hitting up Drinkers Pub, Bamboo and of course ending the night at Little Pete’s.

Also keep your eye out for Philly Chefs: All Up in Their Grills on UWISHUNU, a new series that will boldly go inside the kitchens of some of Philadelphia’s hottest new restaurants and ask area chefs to share their savory secrets.

Rachel’s Guide delivers a peek at Bamboo, the newly opened “New York style lounge” at 20th and Arch Streets.

The d�cor is sleek, the cocktail waitresses are sexy and the vibe is one that people dress up for. There�s bottle-service in the lounge, which is lined with banquette seating and leather ottomans. The bamboo-lined ceilings and mocha-brown walls give it an earthy feel, while the sparkly chandeliers and crystal-beaded bar back-drop give it a touch of feminine glitz.

The Metro debuted a new Going Out section today. Although it isn’t available online it is worth checking out in the flesh.

The first print version of Rachel Furman’s Rachel’s Guide highlights this Friday’s grand opening of BAMBOO, a “new luxe lounge” at 20th and Arch as well as James, a sleek neighborhood restauant opening in November at 8th & Christian.
