Tuesday, August 25th Alfa is hosting a Root tasting dinner that will include cocktails from the Root Cocktail competition at Silk City. It’s 5 mini-courses for $35 and each will be paired with a cocktail.

Upstairs Downstairs
Alfa comes to 17th and Walnut Street, just off Rittenhouse Square and it manages to deliver.
Among the highlights are some worthy main courses but the highlight is definitely the tempura hotdogs on a stick. Served over fries with ketchup and wasabi spiked mustard. “It’s a good old American corn dog turned Japanese, and it’s hard not to love.”
