Han Chiang has opened the Old City outpost of his Han Dynasty dynasty. It is the third of his locations and promises no dumbed down items on his menu. [Meal Ticket]

Zavino still isn’t open for business as snags have been hit. Last night we noticed a wooden frame for handicap accessible ramp was being constructed along the side. How long does it take for concrete to set in this weather?

Brinn Sinnott is in as the new chef at Noble: American Cookery, look for potential menu items rolling out as specials over the next few weeks. [Meal Ticket]

Want Tony Luke to come to your house to teach the art of cheesesteaks? Then head to charitybuzz and bid. It’s up to $750 right now. Proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. [Philadelphia Inquirer]

15/18 Bar & Grill is the tentative name for a new spot at 1518 Sansom Street. [The Insider]

J&J Trestle Inn has closed before we checked it off our bucket list. But wait, maybe it’s coming back. [Icepack, City Paper]

I am so sick of the “address as name” concept, like 15/18. Enough!! Think of something original.

I went to Han Dynasty yesterday. AWESOME! The heat is there but does not overshadow the wonderful and complex spice combination and the flavor of the dish. No holding back on the numbing Sichuan peppercorns either. Dry pan lamb was out of this world. The pepper pork that had a 4 heat rating had very little heat. Must have been bum long green peppers. Definitely planning to go back soon.

      is the trestle really happening?
