How Many Bells For Village Whiskey

Posted by Foobooz on December 1st, 2009

Craig LaBan reviews Village Whiskey this weekend, the bar of now Iron Chef, Jose Garces. What will LaBan think of the foie gras topped Whiskey King Burger? Will the liquor prices be too rich for his blood or will he focus on the thickness of the Sly Fox Cheddar sauce served with those duck fat french fries?

I just ate there yesterday and had the $24 burger and duck fries. The burger was great, a juicy flavorfull mess that you couldn’t set down because you wouldn’t be able to pick it up again. However, the duck fat fries weren’t crisp, or flavorfull at all they almost tasted frozen(i know they weren’t). Service was good but the menu is very limited.
