Weekend

Posted by Foobooz on November 6th, 2009

Friday

Head out after work to Jolly’s Piano Bar where happy hour goes from 6 to 8pm. There will be $3 cocktails, wine, beers and food. And of course dueling pianos. Perfect thing to do while waiting for the gridlock to subside.

Saturday

Supper is now open for lunch and we’re hearing good reports. Try lamb French dip or the Supper Dog, bacon wrapped pork shoulder hot dog that’s deep fried and served with kraut, barbecued onions, beer mustard and fried pickles.

From 5 to 9pm the Mew Gallery will be hosting the opening of The Bacon Show exhibit. An art exhibit about bacon, brilliant!

Sunday

We’ve been hearing good stuff about brunch at Noble: An American Cookery. Check it out yourself for items like fresh cheese crepes and banana and bacon French toast.

Chick’s Cafe hosts a fun Sunday night foodie quizzo starting at 10pm. See if you’ve got the chops to win this quizzo.
