Scrumptious & A Bargain
Posted by Foobooz on October 5th, 2009
We like the word scrumptious though we don’t hear it nearly enough. So we were excited to see it used by Craig LaBan to describe the sushi at Aki Japanese Fusion on Walnut Street. That the rolls are also a bargain puts it to the top of our must-try list.
Among the options are a $8.50 deal at lunch and an all-you-can-eat sushi bonanza for $24.95.

We went there a while ago. The service was atrocious. They forgot someone’s order completely. The sushi seemed okay, but the rest of us who got bento boxes were completely ripped off. It was disgusting at best. From what I can tell, the only reason to go is for their “cool” post-modern bathroom.

when i went there – and it was called aoi, not aki – the sushi was absolutely inedible. vomit & illness inducing.
even changing one letter in the name won’t get me back in there, sorry laban…
