The Illadelph points us to a surprising policy at Ladder 15. Posted by the door is a sign that reads, “Ladder 15 is an over 23 establishment after 10pm.”
Turn 18, vote. Turn 21, drink. Turn 25, rent a car. turn 23, hang out at Ladder 15 after 10pm.

you open a bar in a college neighborhood and then try to keep the college kids out? hmmmm……this seems a bit silly to me (not that it affects me personally, being 30 y.o.) but i would love to know if they are enforcing it or if they just hung the sign as a deterrent to people who can’t hold their booze.

Since when is Rittenhouse a “college” neighborhood?? If keeping out the under-23 set means that the bathrooms are even modestly less piss-soaked than Drinkers, bravo!
