Friday
Some highly regarded beers have come to the area in recent months but if we had to pick a favorite, it would have to be North Carolina’s Duck-Rabbit. Tonight, Teresa’s Next Door is pouring a rare Duck-Rabbit firkin of barrel aged sour porter, made with tart cherries. Sounds intense.
Saturday
From 12 to 7pm Brauhaus Schmitz is hosting its first ever Oktoberfest. Events will happen both inside and out with a pig roast, live music, giveaways and of course German Beer.
Sunday
Matt Levin’s Rubb may not be opened in Manayunk yet but the Death Star-sized mobile BBQ is fully operational. Look for it in Lot K (PDF Map) before the Eagles game this Sunday.
