MidAtlantic teased us a couple of weeks ago via Twitter that there would be crab scrapple on the menu.

Today, we have the full menu to analyze.

The menu is broken down into several sections:

  • Snacks, Salads, Pickings and Tap House food
  • Chilled Seafood
  • Every Night Dinners
  • Nightly SpecialsSustenance
  • Mixed Grills, the perfect shared feast
  • Sandwiches
  • Sides

The every night dinners are 3-courses for $30 and individual menu items top out at $18.

As for crab scrapple, it comes  in cake form with a toasted mustard sauce and in the Crab Louis with lettuce wedge, buckwheat and brandy Louis dressing.

We’re salivating for the Welsh Rarebit fondue and the 1/2 dozen hardshells every night dinner.

great more overly pretentious food by dan stern. what a high priced mess of a menu.

    I totally agree.

saffron noodle casserole instead of gayle’s great mac n’ cheese? ($18 for a small brick of it and two pieces of absolutely charred broccoli)

4 kinds of equally disgusting scrapple? (is it really that necessary to use ALL the leftovers from the night before?)

a salad comprised entirely of different pickled vegetables?

mixed drinks made with vinegar? (I’d sooner polish my silverware with it than drink it)

C’mon. Give up on the elitist bull*** and serve steak like Steven Starr.

It is really frustrating when disgruntled employees junk up the internet with totally biased opinions. I would love to hear the opinions of actual diners who actually dined at the restaurant. I take the time to read these sites for true opinions, and I feel that it is a waste of my time to read angry notes like those above. I went to MidAtlantic last night and loved it, so I thought I would take the time to write on this site. I thought the dishes combine flavors beautifully and creatively, and the service is warm and attentive. The prices are more reasonable (they are actually very low!) than I expected. I tried the crab scrapple and the pig wigs, and had the root beer sticky buns for dessert – and everything was absolutely delicious. What a treat.
