We already mentioned rare Allagash beers tonight at Local 44 and we stand by that call. But first, get some culture and check out the book launch and opening of the Regulars at Gallery 339 tonight at 6pm.
Regulars was a photo series and now a book by former McGlinchey’s bartender Sarah Stolfa. The hauntingly beautiful series features patrons photographed by Stolfa as she worked at the bar. Tonight check out the photographs and the book. Maybe you’ll recognize one or two regulars with whom you’ve been elbow to elbow.

At least Stolfa is honest in the Metro article, she is one of the surliest bartenders i have ever bought a drink from.

Surly doesn’t even begin to describe her. Every time I talked about that “miserable b****” (and that’s being kind) @ McGlinchey’s, everyone knew exactly who I was referring to.
She reeked of unpleasantness and treated you like you shot her dog.
