Best Of Burger, Cheap

Posted by Foobooz on July 28th, 2009

butcher_singer_burger_philly_magPhilly Mag has given us a peek at 10 of its Food and Drink winners for Best of Philly and the winner for gourmet burger is Butcher and Singer.

And yesterday Starr tweated that the burger would be available at lunch for just $5.95. Grub Street hypothesized that maybe this was all related to Tommy Up’s Twitter smack talk but maybe it’s just in time marketing to capitalize on the Best Of win.

Whatever the reason, it’s worth biting into.

  1. Christian Says:

Absolute full house this afternoon at Butcher and Singer’s. Waited an hour for the food even with reservations at 1, but the burger was phenomenal. Loosely packed, super juicy, properly cooked goodness. Fries were average.

  2. Paul Says:

I’d rather pay the $12.00 for the Bunnypig, errrrr… Pub & Kitchen burger…

  3. Alicia Says:

any word on how long that deal will be available?

  4. Foobooz Says:

Alicia, no end date has been set for the promotion. With a full Butcher & Singer for lunch though, we wouldn’t expect it to go away very quickly.
