Tonight

Posted by Foobooz on June 3rd, 2009

Well as we said before, it’s the first night of Center City Sips but it also seems to be the night of a bunch of beer debuts.

Weyerbacher Zotten is at Bridgid’s and Grey Lodge. Dogfish Head’s Festina Peche is at Jose Pistola’s and Ballast Point is pouring their Sculpin IPA at Devil’s Den.

Center City Sips was a bit of a disappointment last night. It seemed like more than a few bars were not following their own advertisements, or at the least being as misleading as possible. For example, it was listed that Devil’s Alley would have Yuengling and some sort of Rotating draft for $2. NOPE. The rotating draft is $3. Whatever. Fado claimed $2 Draft Beers. It turns out they were $2 half-pints. What a waste of time.
