The Happy Hour Spreadsheet

Posted by Foobooz on June 15th, 2009

Google DocsHave you seen the spreadsheet with all of the Philadelphia happy hours in it? It was first e-mailed to us on Friday. We overheard it being talked about on Saturday. And this morning we’ve found it’s now a Google Spreadsheet.

It’s someone’s painstaking work of listing a huge number of Philadelphia area happy hours, broken down by day.

It looks like some of the specials are a bit dated but it’s still an impressive piece of work. Anyone have any idea where it came from?

This thing is incredible. First saw it last week, but who’s behind it?

  2. Brian Says:

Could you guys “Wiki-ize” it on foobooz.com so it could maintained on this website by both readers and you guys?

    Just a thought…

My friend created this spreadsheet last week and I sent it around. Didn’t think it would make it onto foobooz!

Yeah, it would be great if other people can edit this, because I’ve already noticed a few mistakes….

-Devil’s Den has half price drafts from 5-7pm.
-Buffalo Billiard’s offers all of their drafts at either half off or a dollar off, and surprisingly, they have some decent ones.

The Wiki idea sounds great. We’ll start working on that immediately.

Autumn, this may be my fault since Leah sent it to me and I sent it to like 20 people in my office! hahahaah

  7. Jay Says:

It came from a link on your website, just in a different format:

    http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/drink/guide/happy-hour/

It’s under the “Drink Links” pull down.

You also left out The Bards at 2013 Walnut Street. Mon-Fri $2 Miller Lites and Lagers plus $2 Jim Beam shots!

  9. Ryan Says:

I posted this to Google Docs after a friend sent me the spreadsheet last week. I’ve set it to globally editable now and sent sharing invites to foobooz, not sure how to wiki-ize it though.

(CC West) Meme’s hour of happiness is a charm as well: Mon-Fri 5:30-6:30 three $5 apps & three $5 wines
