Stoking The Pizza Flames

Posted by Foobooz on May 19th, 2009

Oh this should generate some comments. Philadelphia gets two pizzas among the top 25 in the United States in the latest edition of GQ.

Tacconelli’s white pizza comes in at number 9 and Osteria’s Zucca pizza (not currently on the menu) is ranked number 22.

Additionally Philadelphia comes in at number 8 in US pizza cities.

    Tacconelli’s white pizza is awful!
Powdered garlic and crappy olive oil. Give me an f’in break.

I do like their crust but their toppings are a joke. Especially when you’re paying $20 a pie!

    What about Osteria’s Lombarda??????

  3. rory Says:

magicalman28–exactly! osteria would have been higher on the list had he had that, i think.

perhaps it wasn’t on the menu when he went? or he got bad advice about what to order?
