Spring Menu At Cochon

cochon.gifAs the seasons change so do the menus at Cochon. Among the highlights is the “Cochon Plate” that groups house-made sausage, glazed ribs and roasted pork belly all on one happy plate.

Cochon is also getting in on the prix fixe craze with a 4-course pork centered menu available Tuesday through Thursday, now for just $30.

Spring Menu

First Course

Crispy Oysters – fennel slaw, basil oil $12

Escargots – pancetta, tomato-concassé, Pernod garlic-butter $11

Bibb Lettuce Salad – radish, English peas, lardons, ramp-vinaigrette $9

Steamed Mussels – olive oil poached fennel and leeks, white wine butter sauce, grilled bread $11

Fresh Pappardelle – braised rabbit and sausage ragoût, extra-virgin olive oil, Parmigiano-Reggiano $14

Charcuterie Plate - house-made pâté, assortment of cured meats, garnishes $14

Fried Pigs Feet – frisée salad, violet mustard-vinaigrette $10

Second Course

Grilled Lamb Rack - ratatouille, roasted fingerling potatoes, vincotto $26

Slow-roasted Baby Pig – French lentils, radishes, pea shoot salad, poached egg, truffle aioli $24

Cochon Plate – glazed ribs, house sausage, roasted pork belly, mashed potatoes, sweet and sour cabbage $24

Pepper-crusted Strip Steak – herbed polenta, asparagus and red-onion fricassé, goat cheese, red-wine sauce $23

Rainbow Trout - creamy mashed potatoes, artichoke barigoule, white wine extra-virgin olive oil sauce $22

House-made Gnocchi – sauteed spring vegetables, shaved Idiazábel cheese, extra-virgin olive oil $19

Veal Milanese – celery-root fennel hash, English peas, mushroom madiera sauce $26

    Had a really wonderful meal tonight. The charcuterie was excellent. The best gnocchi that I’ve ever had, soft and light, and 24hr braised pork shoulder. I love this place.
