Silk City Beer Garden Opens

Posted by Foobooz on May 26th, 2009

We received word that Silk City’s Beer Garden opened yesterday afternoon and we got there just after nightfall. Unfortunately we were only equipped with an iPhone so the pictures are a little lacking.

There’s room for 50 seated at assorted colorful picnic tables around the courtyard and there’s a bar with six seats. As for the beer, Kenzinger, Philadelphia Pale Ale, Hoegaarden and Bell’s Two Hearted Ale were among the draft selections.

SO, what did you think? Is it the full menu outside?

How’s the noise from Spring Garden St?

  2. Foobooz Says:

The full food menu is available outside. As for the noise, yes you can still hear Spring Garden. But it isn’t terrible by any stretch and there is a quieter nook behind the diner that would certainly be further isolated.

boy, real shitty pics from that iphone huh?

can we really call this a beer garden? its like calling the piazza at schmidt’s the “piazza at schmidt’s”.
