Adam Erace visits Aki at 1210 Walnut Street and finds it is more than just another anonymous Center City sushi spot, although one with some caveats.

Speaking of anonymous Center City sushi spots it looks like Aso Sushi on the 700 block of Walnut near Wash Sq is on the market. This is a big space in a great location so any news/rumors about what will go there in the future would be appreciated.

I am usually weary of discount sushi… but I have to say that the all you can eat deal is no joke. Good sushi and great service. A little too attentive (… meaning I kept ordering more before I realized how full I was getting)… but everyone is really, really nice. I will definitely be back… but Adam’s right. Don’t order anything pre-all you can eat.

I reviewed Aki on yelp, but to summarise, Aki is nothing like you’d expect from all you can eat. The preparation and presentation are top notch. I’ll be going there again in the next week.
