Weekend

Posted by Foobooz on April 3rd, 2009

Friday

It’s First Friday, that explains the rain. If you venture out to Old City we suggest hitting up La Locanda De Ghiottone for a tasty meal. It’s cozy atmosphere will be the perfect antidote to the weather.

Saturday

Start the day off by doing your part in the second annual Philly Spring Cleanup. Then reward yourself for a job well done with bourbon and beer at the Institute at 4pm. That’ll have you primed to settle in to watch Villanova topple North Carolina.

Sunday

It’s the return of baseball and the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Join Foobooz’s sister site iSportacus as we celebrate our launch and the opening of the 2009 season at the Bards where there will be beer deals and dollar dogs starting at 6pm. Come on down, we’re sure it’ll be lots of fun.
