To Do List: Q.T. Vietnamese Sandwich

Posted by Foobooz on April 16th, 2009

Q.T. Vietnamese Hoagie
Since David Snyder brought Q.T. Vietnamese Sandwich to our attention back in February it has been on our to-do list.

Now that we’ve satiated our obsession with Paesano’s and made it back to Shank’s & Evelyn’s one last time, Q.T. is firmly in our sights. Recent reviews by Fries with that Shake and Mac & Cheese have only served to heighten out banh mi tizzy. We’ll see you Saturday Q.T.

Believe the hype – Q.T. Vietnamese Sandwich [fwts.net]

    so amazingly worth it.

  2. Ben Says:

Is this place really better than the South Philly spots? I mean, the linked review is awed by the fact that they use baguettes for the roll. Seriously?

Vietnamese in Chinatown gets so much hype (ahem, Vietnam restaurant) by people who never make it to Washington Ave.

  3. Roland Says:

Agree with Ben here. Vietnamese in Chinatown was only worth it before Chu-Chu’s (Xe Lua) closed for renovations. Havent been back since. Go to 11th and Washington to get some Banh Mi.

  4. Marty B. Says:

I actually really like Pho Cali just on the southern fringe of Chinatown, but yeah, the real community and the real deal foods for both Banh and Pho are centered around Washington.

  5. Jennie Says:

Chifa has a great Banh Mi sandwich on the lunch menu, comes with fries in a Chimichuri dipping sauce, had it for lunch on Tuesday
