Mountains Of Italy Come to Passyunk

Le Virtu will be serving Abruzzese summer food in the garden next to their Passyunk Avenue restaurant. Expect lamb chops, sausages, steaks,shrimp, calamari, vegetables and smoked mozzarella all cooked on an outdoor grill.

    sounds delicious, maybe some of the proceeds could go to the earthquake victims or something like that…

    From Francis & Cathy, Le Virtù’s owners:

    On Tuesday, April 28th, we will hold a benefit dinner buffet beginning at 5:00 pm, at a minimum cost of $40 per person; all proceeds will go to Abruzzo earthquake relief aid, as will all profits from alcohol sales. As always, Abruzzese cuisine will be served.

    We hope to see you there.
