Union Trust is offering a free happy hour for ladies through Saturday.
Specialty cocktails will be free of charge tonight and tomorrow from 6 to 8pm. Saturday and Sunday the deal goes from 10pm to midnight.

Not to be a downer here (and I’m no PLCB expert), but I’m pretty sure giving away more than 1 free drink is a violation of the liquor code, isn’t it?

Also, I wish they didn’t make me wait for that ridiculous intro page to finish before I could see their website.

Tomorrow the free drinks are from 6-8 and then FRIDAY and SATURDAY they are free from 10-midnight (I don’t believe there is a deal on Sunday). I went there today… there is one drink that is free and it tastes like a melted jello shot (my head hurts from all of the sugar)… but hey at least it got me in the door… once.

Reeks of desperation. Sounds like they’re trying to compete with Del Frisco’s’ strippers.
Maybe Craig will write about all the girls @ the bar & that’ll bring the boys in.

Someone should sit at the bar. Grab a drink. Call the PLCB and wait for the fun to begin.
It’ll be like Delaware Ave on “Philadelphia’s new restaurant row”–scantily clad “ladies,” free drinks, cops, & mayhem. Über-classy. I can’t wait.

Good call about the prohibition on free drinks.
I always assumed that was why people had to pay a penny during those all you can drink for $10 type happy hours.
The free drinks for just ladies might also violate that wierd philly law that they tried to get Geno’s with. I forget what that was called.

I went into union trust it looked great! but thats all that was good.The food was over priced 100 dollar steaks that tasted like rubber,and a signature drink that tasted like Tang and vodka.two thumbs down!!
