I guess this guy at Blockley should be hired by the Police Department since he seems to know what “criminal types” look like.
We have a club near us that does rap/hip hop music format–for about a year now–and no problems. Why? A no bull sh%t approach to it. Tight security and zero tolerance for stupidity. Its all in the way a place is run.
There is a difference between stating some harsh truths and making blanket statements and generalizations.
That said its a great concept that maybe will break the long cycle of places that have come and gone in that spot. I would only offer that the place didn’t survive as any concept–whether it catered to hip hop or rock.
