“Mechanical Emergencies” At Bookbinders

It doesn’t sound good for Old Original Bookbinders. The restaurant’s voicemail states it is closed due to “mechanical emergencies” and Dan Gross is reporting that the restaurant is behind on its PECO and PGW bills.

    See ya baby…hasn’t been good in a long time….when they did away with the private second floor room (10 years ago plus) was the last time I actually had a good time there…and it wasn’t because of the food.

    Bookbinder’s is permanently closed. “Financial Difficulites” would be an euphemism for what I hear the reason is.
