Craig LaBan was off yesterday but he’ll be back handing out bells this weekend. In his sights will be Kanella, the Washington Square West Cypriot BYOB.

How many bells for Kanella?

   They have great service, Havnt tasted much of the food though. The Chef is a real old school, cool, guy, I hope they do well.

   Hopefully 3, it’s one of the best BYOs in the city.

   They deserve at least 3 Bells, the food is consistantly amazing, service is excellent and informed, great atmosphere, and there isn’t anything else like it in the city.

   The place is wonderful and one of the few places I go to eat often. It would be fun if they got 4 but that never seems to happen for BYOBs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they earned 4 bells, the lack of liquor license would seem make more sense for a solid 3 bells.
