Darlings Hatches In Northern Liberties

Harry and John Arnold who own Darling’s Cheesecakes at 20th and Pine and 21st and Spring Streets have been in the news recently regarding a Parkway restaurant. Well that project appears to be on the back burner but now moving front and center is Darling’s, a 132-seat restaurant coming to the “Egg” at Bart Blatstein’s Piazza at Schmidt’s.  

There’ll be a diner vibe, liquor license and outdoor seating. As for going from cheesecake shops to a 132-seat restaurant? Harry Arnold is a veteran of Davio’s and Le Bec-Fin.
