But Did They Fly First Class?

Posted by Foobooz on March 10th, 2009

FedEx Custom CriticalMemphis Taproom has had to go to great lengths for their Beer Week “No Repeats” promotion. But these casks from Fuller’s arrived via air, a rare and expensive shipping option for kegs of beer. Tonight they’ll be tapping Fuller’s London Pride, London Porter and ESB that just arrived from across the pond.

    Are these kegs or casks?

  2. Ashley Says:

Word of warning: I was there last night and it was packed. Not enough servers on hand and I consumed my entire meal without receiving the beer I ordered. (And I wasn’t that hungry.) Hopefully that was a one-off because the beer I had there was great. (Moylander IPA)

    Casks.

Cool. If you run into any representative from Fuller’s, let them know that there is demand for them to send over their cask beer.

  5. Andre Says:

    how did it go?

  6. Lew Bryson Says:

The three London Prides I had Monday night were so great I had three of them when I’d only figured on stopping in for a quick one.
