I’ll testify about Nick’s Charcoal Pit. The BBQ is really pretty good, as is the rest of the food. That neighborhood has pretty good selection too; everything from McD’s to the Texas hotdog spot to Rita’s to Charcoal Pit to Melrose to BombBomb BBQ.
I miss South Philly.

There must be some sort of mistake. Nick’s Charcoal Pit is by far the most disgusting BBQ I have ever eaten…the wings were tiny and tasteless, the ribs were so tough that they were unchewable, and the greasy onion rings permeated the bag they were delivered in. There is nothing redeeming about this place. Stay away.
