White Dog In Wayne

Posted by Foobooz on January 8th, 2009

White Dog Cafe

As we mentioned on Tuesday, Martin Grims is taking over the food service and the general operations of the White Dog Cafe. Today we find out that the White Dog Cafe will open a second location in Wayne (200 W Lancaster Ave) late this spring.

Grims is kind of a quiet giant in these parts as he is involved in the following restaurants:

  • Moshulu
  • Du Jour Cafes in Haverford and Center City
  • The Inlet
  • Daddy O Hotel and Restaurant
  • The Plantation
  • Pan-Asian restaurant coming to Commerce Square
  • and now two White Dog Cafes

Looks like Teresa’s is going to have some competition. Their beer is pretty untouchable but they could be bested in food.

  3. cheez wit Says:

screw them, they fired the whole kitchen staff and ruined the menu. no more buy fresh buy local at the Dog.

  4. Angel Says:

ENTIRE KITCHEN at White Dog let go without warning. Farmers told to stop delivery. It’s a sad day for Philadelphia’s restaurant scene.
