New Foobooz Feature

Posted by Foobooz on January 5th, 2009

ClosingsOn the heels of Brasserie Perrier’s New Year’s Eve closing we’ve unveiled a new Foobooz feature, Closings. We’re not looking to tap dance on the graves of restaurants, but rather to remember those spots that have faded away.

The list is compiled from previous Foobooz posts, if we missed any notable 2008 closings please drop us a line at tips@foobooz.com.

For something more positive, check out our recently updated Openings section where there are still plenty of restaurant openings to have your taste buds tingling.

curbside chef had it coming and you could see it from day 1.
1: that space seems destined to fail (let’s wok, el wingador)
2: i’m sorry, but their food was really not good.
3: they made late-night claims they never followed up on
4: in general, their hours were very wishy-washy and they seemed closed more than they were open.

    other closings:
    - azure (sob for fish tacos)
    - sovalo

wait, what? is el ranchito definitely gone? that was the place up at 2nd and jefferson, right?
