Asian Pub Opens Friday

Akoya, the Asian gastropub that is taking over the first floor at Pearl opens Friday. It looks to be a warmed up spot with zebra wood paneling and fireplaces. Executive Chef Greg Garbacz will be cooking up Asian fusion fare highlighting Japanese, Thai and Chinese cooking. Among the menu highlights are tempura jalapeños, hamachi tacos and Vietnamese short rib sliders.
