Bittersweet Fun In Metro Today

Posted by Foobooz on December 10th, 2008

In The Bite this week, it is a series of blind items of restaurants that are currently listed for sale on local realty sites.

Can you figure out what establishments are for sale?

center city night club i assume is Vango… it has a patio that overlooks the city… or it could be Apothecarey lounge. both of them serve niche markets.

Just wanted to add that Monkey Bar went to a new owner only because the previous owners felt they needed a larger space and are opening a new bar/restaurant just a block away on Walnut.

Center city nightclub is 12th Air Command and has been for sale for at least a year, South Street businesses could be Miami Cafe, the old NoLa Cafe, and/or Blarney South all of which have been on the market for some time…

No libs bar has to be Liberties…

None of these are for sale or closing because of the current economic situation… businesses that close after tax time will be.

  6. Heather@theinstitute Says:

would make sense if it was Liberties Same owners have a spot in Northeast they are looking to offload.
